berths
The port, which consists of an outer and inland port, can be used at any time even at low tide.
In the outer harbor there are floating pontoons directly in front of the lock. Boats can also moor at the south quay in front of the shipyard. The north side is closed to pleasure boats.

The inner harbor is accessible through the lock. It is opened on signal "2 times long" from two hours before to high water. The inner harbor is very quiet in pole boxes, almost in the heart of the city.

control
In front of the harbor entrance lies the Elbe island Rhinplate. From the north you stop at the beacon Rhinplate-N, which is located far off the island on a dam, which is flooded in high water and should not be crossed under any circumstances for short-circuiting purposes. The fairway to the harbor entrance is stressed. Coming from the south, you pass the two tons of Glückstadt's secondary navigation water GN 13 (green) and GN 10 (red). The radar tower at the southern tip of the Rhinplate can serve as the point of orientation. Glückstadt's Nebenfahrwasser is a quiet and popular anchorage.

shore
Showers and toilets are located in the basement of the restaurant "Alte Mühle" at the Binnenhafen.
The harbor is located near the city center of Glückstadt. Just stroll through the streets and be seduced by the charm of our small town.
